Connect the concepts, work through practical problems, and choose a training plan that fits your goals.
About Flutter
Flutter provides a widget-based framework for building applications from a shared Dart codebase. Build a small application with responsive layouts, navigation, asynchronous data, and tests while checking platform-specific behavior rather than assuming identical behavior everywhere.
Flutter Course Objectives
- Use Dart and Flutter's widget lifecycle to build an application.
- Design responsive, accessible screens and forms.
- Separate interface state from data access and business rules.
- Handle navigation, asynchronous requests, and local persistence.
- Test and package an application for an agreed target platform.
Pre-requisites
- Programming experience with functions, objects, and asynchronous operations.
- Basic HTTP and JSON knowledge.
- Dart fundamentals are introduced; prior mobile-development experience is useful but not required.
Lab Setup
- Flutter SDK, Dart tooling, Git, and a supported editor.
- A configured Android emulator, physical test device, or browser target and supplied local API.
- Verify target-platform toolchains with flutter doctor before teaching time. iOS builds require compatible macOS and Xcode tooling.
